the health, productivity and diversity of temperate
forestlands. This is accomplished in three steps: by evaluating the
ecological integrity, economic potential and social
culture of the lands under consideration. From this
analysis, the land manager or landowner is given the
tools to construct a long term approach which will benefit
both the lands and the land stewards.
